a quick hit of wit

Okay, so my dear Dad sent me the link to this really funny website called Overheard In New York You should go there and read it, it is hilarious. This is a website where people send in crazy conversations they overhear in New York City.

Anyway, one of the first ones on there made me laugh.

As you all know I love eggs. Especially out. And I always order mine "over hard" which many people give me odd looks for (and usually this results in me getting eggs over easy, sometimes over medium, but I digress).

Anyway, I have a feeling I would like to go to breakfast with this guy.

Waiter: How would you like your eggs?
Guy: Can I get two eggs scrambled, one sunny side up?
Waiter: Um...I...Um...I don't...
Guy: Whatever. Give me three scrambled eggs. God.

As much as I like variety I never have thought to order my eggs that way!
Some may call him a diva, but I say he's brilliant!

While I am the first to admit there are plenty of wackos here in NY and lots of interesting conversations one can overhear, I wonder how many of those on this site are made up or at least mildly embellished?

Judging on conversations I have overheard in Auburn, I wouldn't put it past them all to be real. :)

But you're right I think some of them were probably said toungue in cheek and that doesn't come through.

But I think two different eggs sound good.
