The Dining Out

Well the dining out was not half bad! Here is a wonderful picture of us under the fabulous barrack lighting. We're ready to go!



First there was cocktail hour, which was at the Warrior Club (some of you may remember this is the only place with a decent salad but they have terrible bread). Here is a picture of my friend (and co-worker) Lenka and me.


Once we were finished hobnobbing we went to the gym, which was decorated with the various insignias of the branches in the "Iron Brigade". Here is an overall shot.

Here is a photo of the coins we received for going to the dining out. (Since we had two it was easy to show both sides. Also I made a little bag to hold my money and ID card).

And here is a group shot of some of the people in 2-9. I think it is pretty funny all of us wives wore black. I guess you can never go wrong with Black.


Anyway, despite not wearing a formal gown, I had a really nice time. It was good to get out and get dressed up, hear a few speeches, etc. I enjoyed hearing a lot of the histories of the Iron Brigade. Plus we won a doorprise which was a gift certificate to a local pub/eatery... so that was exciting.
